WFie.com – News And Much More

WFie.comAs a news station covering the tri-state area (Southwest Indiana, Western Kentucky and Southern Illinois), on Wfie.com you will find just about all the local, regional and nationally-relevant news you might need in order to get around.

The site is easy to navigate through and works mainly on an intuitive level, so users can take the best out of it even if they are rather inexpert with online media.

No live stream TV is available from the site, but you can watch clips of the news program covering all the standard local-station topics: general information and news, life & leisure, sports, local stuff and weather (lots of information on weather).

One of the bits about this site I found more interesting is the attempts to enter web 2.0 Wfie is doing: you can become their friends in MySpace, subscribe to their channel in YouTube or learn how to submit pictures and footage taken with your camera or phone to the station. Strange as it may seem, Wfie.com does not have RSS subscription features.
