Nounify is a social site that lets people identify all the unknown objects that they come across. The site works by letting users upload photos of these unknown items for all to see. If someone knows what the object in question is, then he can simply proceed to answer back and illuminate everybody.
The site is split in four main categories that cover most anything you could think of: People, Places, Things and Living Things.
As a site, Nounify is based on quite an interesting premise. The design is a bit rustic for my liking, and I certainly think that a service such as this one lends itself to a much bigger degree of integration with both Facebook and Twitter. But the site has just been unveiled – I am sure a more realized design will come in time, along with support for more and more social channels. In the meantime, I encourage you to check the site yourself and see where does it stand for you, and how far you think it can get.
