Brikut.com – Where You Can Read Breaking News

Brikut.comAn Australian startup, Brikut is devoted to spreading both local and international news right before they happen. That is why the tagline of the site is “Stories Of Tomorrow”.

Just like any other aggregator of news, the site includes a series of categories to make finding what is posted an easier task. “Entertainment”, “Business”, “Lifestyle”, “Sports”… these are some of the categories that are prominently featured on the main navigation menu.

Also, the stories which are submitted to the site can be grouped together both by their degree of hotness, and by how hyped they have been (IE, how many people have liked and spread them around).

And if you have a story you would like to break yourself, then you’d be glad to learn that the process is not only free but extremely simple.

To be honest, the site is nothing spectacular. But bearing in mind the ruckus that has been caused by Digg’s recent redesign, I thought that some of you might like to give it a good look, just to remember things the way they used to be right before Digg tried to ape Facebook and got it all wrong.

Brikut.com In Their Own Words

“Brikut is a new way of posting local, regional and international stories that are yet to happen, and sharing them with the rest of the world.”

Why Brikut.com It Might Be A Killer

Posting stories is done in a very simple way, and they are featured immediately on the main page.
