It was something which many could have seen coming, yet I admit it caught me a little off guard: games on Twitter. It is not that I have anything against that, it is just that I found it somehow alien to the concept, or rather, something which the platform would not necessarily lend itself to easily.
Now, after having given this set of games a try I do admit that the concept is more than viable.
Four multiplayer fantasy games are available on the site. The setting changes drastically from one to the other, but the mechanics are essentially the same – you have a character which has some attributes like stamina, strength, etc and you must battle other players in order to triumph.
As I said, the settings are truly variegated and you can take part of sci-fi adventures, vampire stories and the mandatory orc-ridden land. That should be enough to keep most players going and if you have been looking into doing something different Twitter-wise this might be where it’s at for you.
