Taskforce is a new productivity tool that will let you take all your emails and have them turned into pending tasks. For the time being, this works with just any Gmail account, and supported browsers are Firefox, Safari and Chrome.
In general, all you have to do is supply your email address when prompted for the application to gain access to all your messages. Once that has been done, you will be able to have your messages categorized in lots of different ways. But basically, you can have them split into regular messages (IE, mails that have no priority, and that deserve no special treatment) and tasks (the ones that will trigger a series of activities to be assigned to these individuals that are part of your contact list).
When it comes to tasks, each one of these can obviously have a deadline, and the moment the task is assigned to any of your contacts then you can all start collaborating together in order to achieve it.
Taskforce is a free application, and more email providers are meant to be supported before long.
