Using that URL, you will be able to invite all your friends over and start planning everything in fine detail. You will be able to suggest things for the event (for example, what kind of food will be served, which songs will be played in the background…) and you and your friends will be able to vote on the best ideas.
As you can see, the main selling point of this system is that it can be used without having to sign up, log in via any third party service, or disclose who you are in any way or the other.
