search cancel – A New Sleep Tracker

Beta.YawnLog.comCould you find a more accurate name for a sleep tracker that YawnLog? Probably not. This new site (currently out in public beta) will let you keep your sleeping habits fully in check, since you can not only jot down the times you went to bed and woke up, but also make annotations about your slumber.

Whether it was an uneventful one or whether you dreamed of Jessica Biel, you can add as much information as you want.

Furthermore, the site has a social aspect – to quote the team behind the project, it lets you “see how your friends are counting sheep”, how long they are regularly sleeping, and whether they are having the same dreams as you.

On the other hand, if you want to keep things private then you can do so and not let anybody else see your results, so that the site lets you have it both ways. At the end of the day (pun intended) a service like this one will hopefully enable you to realize what sweet dreams are made of. In Their Own Words

“YawnLog is a sleep tracker. All you have to do is tell us when you went to sleep, and when you woke up. You can tell us how well you slept, and some notes about your slumber. Was your sleep this weekend serene? Was it restless? Did you dream about flying? YawnLog lets you answer these questions, and we let you share your answers with your friends–and see how well they’re counting their own sheep. Are you worried you’re not getting enough sleep? Are you sleeping too much? Are your friends? Do you dream about the same things as your friends?”

Why It Might Be A Killer

It is a practical tool that is augmented by a fully-realized social feature.
