It contains information related to activities in the District, as well as services that are of help to the citizens, and government news and contacts. There is even a page titled Kid’s Corner that caters to the city’s young people. There is information about the Mayor, such as his biography, and the members of his cabinet are individualized by agency/office, and title. The initiatives section sheds light on the Fiscal Year Plan for the year, and on several other endeavors that are going to benefit the community. For example, it lists the key priorities for the year 2008, including the healthcare, public safety, customer service and economic development plans, which can be consulted and weighed up by members of the community. Likewise, the 2008 State of the District Address delivered by the Mayor can be consulted online.
