Tldr.it – An Application That Summarizes Feeds
Tldr.it is a tool that can help you if work involves using Google Reader (or any other reader of feeds) extensively. Basically, this new app can summarize feeds for you. By using it, you will be able to replace any feed that you are currently subscribed to with one that is summarized.
The process in which this new feed is created is as simple as submitting the URL in which the feed that you need abridged is located. The feed will then be taken, processed and summarized for good. When that has been done, you will be able to subscribe to this new feed and begin reading the high points that it includes only.
Besides, Tldr.it will let you summarize individual webpages. The same technology is employed. You just supply the URL to be abridged, and that will be it. And keep in mind that a bookmarklet is also provided for you to summarize pages right as you are seeing them, without having to visit Tldr.it every single time and pasting the URL there.
