Taltopia is a site where up and coming artists can upload their work, have it voted on, and get discovered. The main categories on the site include: Music, Art, Acting, Comedy, Modeling and Dance.
The site gives users Famebucks for using the site which gives them an incentive to search for artists and which also gives artists the chance to promote themselves on the “Wall of Fame”. If an artist is not getting the exposure they feel they deserve, they can bump their posting up on the Wall of Fame with their Famebucks. Taltopia recently completed a round of Series A funding, giving them $800,000 to improve their network and increase their user-base.
