Records-Access.com – Get Access To Public Records

  • May 3, 2008

Records-Access.comRecords-Access.com is a service that allows users to quickly and anonymously search for US Court and Public Records on issues as important and diverse as death and birth, divorce, criminal, bankruptcy, house and property records, Municipal, District and Federal Court records, and general Legal Records.

The service is targeted for individuals and companies alike, who need only pay a one-time subscription fee, which can last for 1 or 2 years, or pay a bit more to receive unlimited search access. I was quite unhappy not to find any form of sample search, which is always a good way for customers to preview what it is that they are paying for; instead of that, you are presented with a searchbox where you type in a name, thinking you’ll be presented with a mock search result, and instead of that get directed to a ‘Join now’ page with pricing information, something I regard as rude as if a salesperson would frown when asked a question about the product s/he offers, and instead of answering reminds you of the membership price. Also very alarming about this site is that there is no such thing as an ‘About Us’ or ‘Company Information’ area, so that these people will be watching what your search for, without even letting you know who they are… these absences will redirect customers back to the search engine results page, and from there to one of the myriad of competitor sites. Find-court-records.orgFind-court-records.org is a service that allows users to quickly and anonymously search for US, UK and Canada Court Records on issues as important and diverse as death and birth, divorce, criminal, bankruptcy, house and property records, Municipal, District and Federal Court records, and general Legal Records.

The service is targeted for individuals and companies alike, who need only pay a one-time subscription fee, which can last for 3 or 6 months, or pay a bit more to receive unlimited search access. The site indicates that its search system is far more user-friendly that its competitors, but unlike those, it doesn’t present a sample of what a standard search would come up with –a feature that can be very convenient when trying to explain what the membership comprises. Interestingly, Find-court-records.org gathers a directory of links to related legal and civil issues, like complete legal texts, criminal statistics, free databases of military death records and links to legal advisors on family law topics, like adoption and divorce.
