Spree.ly – Hang Out With Friends & Shop Collectively
A site that couldn’t hit the web at a better time, Spree.ly allows you to shop online with as many friends and acquaintances as you want, on as many online stores as you might feel like visiting.
The site is very easy to use, as you don’t have to download anything and you don’t even have to register to get going to begin with.
That is, using Spree.ly is as simple as setting your browser to the site and clicking on the link which is located in the middle of the page – the one with the 5 character suffix which acts as the code appended to each Spree.ly URL. Upon doing so, you will be allowed to interact with your friends through push-based messaging. A sidebar is provided on the left-hand side of the page to these purposes.
Currently, the site lets you update your status messages on services such as Twitter and Facebook so that your pals can know which stores you are visiting on real time. You can also do so via e-mail and alert your friends of your current shopping spree using the WWW.
On the other hand, a notification will be put your way if (and when) any of your friends join Spree.ly. From that point onwards, you will be capable of chatting and sharing web pages with them in the manner that was described above.
