  • July 30, 2008

Numa.netNUMA is the National Underwater and Marine Agency. It is a non-profit, volunteer foundation dedicated to preserving their maritime heritage through the discovery, archaeological survey and conservation of shipwreck artifacts.

They also have the purpose to reinforce public appreciation of their marine past, present and future by initiating and supporting projects designed to uncover and explore historically significant shipwrecks before they are lost and gone forever. You can explore the website by the categories located at the top of the homepage. These categories are: About NUMA, Clive Cussler, Expeditions, Articles, and Interact. At the Clive Cussler section you can learn more about the best-selling novelist, which happens to be the founder and chairman of NUMA. At the Expedition section you can take a trip around the world with the NUMA crews in their search for history. At the Articles category you can learn more about the NUMA happenings. And at the Interact section you will find a great place to post your thoughts on issues related to this agency.
