RawConfessions.com – Time To Confess Everything

  • August 17, 2011

RawConfessions.comWe all have a secret or two we keep deep inside, and that we wouldn’t even think of confessing to the people who know us best. There are things nobody reveals, not even to the one he deems as his soul mate, or even to his spouse. And the fact remains the burden of such secrets can easily end up affecting both us and our loved ones. The right thing to do is to let them out somehow. And that is exactly what this new website has been created for. It is named Raw Confessions, and it basically lets people reveal their innermost secrets, in a completely anonymous way. These are posted on the site for others to add their own insight by leaving comments and ratings; these can go from 1 to 5.

And people can also rate the tone of the confession itself – everything from “Funny”, “Sad”, “Lame” and “Hot” to “Disgusting”, “Disturbing” and “Inspirational” is allowed.

TellInFuture.com – Save What You Want To Say

  • July 10, 2011

TellInFuture.comWho knows where we will be tomorrow? If there is something we badly want to say to a person, it is only best we should take some steps for ensuring such a thing will be expressed in one way or the other. And that is where a service like TellInFuture comes in. This new website allows us to type down messages that will become publicly visible when a certain date arrives, and not before.

Using this service is as simple as submitting the words you want to have consigned into this kind of online time capsule, and then receiving a unique URL in return. This URL is what you will send to the ones you want to read the message when the time comes. And the message will only become visible then – the people you send the URL to will not be able to see anything until that time arrives.

The uses a service like this one can have are obviously down to each user. Some will resort to it to reveal secrets, others to leave messages of encouragement for relatives after they have passed away… these are all valid uses, and the site lends to them perfectly well. It would have been better to have at least some different text options and to be able to attach files to these messages one types, but you can’t always have everything, can you?

Loky.me – Keep Secrets On Your Android

  • December 6, 2010

Loky.meAn app that is available only for those who have an Android, Loky is a truly interesting way to have secret information stored on your phone, and ensure nobody else but you will access it.

Basically, what Loky does is to lock the contacts, messages and files that you specify in a Pin-code protected locker.

An application like this one is really great if only because we all carry files on our mobiles that we would rather have consigned to the bottom of a bank vault. It happens to every single one of us. And now, thanks to an app like Loky such data can be carried in as much of a secret and private way as we all would like to.

Loky is also a really secretive app in the sense that it can hide the SMSes that any of your private contacts sends you, and have them displayed outside of your regular messaging app. And if someone comes around when you are reading them, you can shake your mobile for Loky to be closed. So, your privacy is being covered in as many ways as possible.

And yes, I know what you are thinking: When is a version of this coming to my iPhone? Well, it turns out that support for iPhones, Blackberries and Windows phones is underway.

MysTwt.com – Send Anonymous Tweets

  • November 10, 2010

MysTwt.comMysTwt is a new service that makes for anonymous tweeting. Using it, you will be able to send tweets to your friends without having to disclose your identity – the tweets that they are to receive will come either from or @mystwt_ or @_mystwt.

The ones who have built MysTwt explain they did it because they wanted to give people a tool that could be used for recommending things to each other without having to stay in the middle. For example, the person who has created a blog might be a little reluctant to recommend it directly to others. Using something like MysTwt, he will be able to point people to the blog without looking self-aggrandizing. Of course, people will eventually realize that the blog belongs to him, and then they might be able to put two and two together. But that is a different matter. MysTwt is used just for bringing what you want to advertise to the attention of the other person.

And there is no need to tell you that if you want to get mischievous, then MysTwt will also let you do it in a grand way… Anonymous messaging systems are always characterized by that. MysTwt is no exception.

BeatMySecret.com – Share Your Secrets With Everybody

  • June 10, 2010

BeatMySecret.comEverybody loves secrets. Everybody loves when a friend takes him as a confidant and places his full trust on him.

Also, the feeling of power that derives from knowing other person’s innermost secrets plays a role that we should not overlook.

That brings me to this site. Named Beat My Secret, it has been devised for people to tell their secrets to the world at large, in an entirely anonymous way. Once a secret has been posted, others can comment on it and also cast a vote and rate it as either a “Bad secret” or a “Good secret”.

Secrets are browseable by category, and seven are featured so far: “Health”, “Kids”, “Money”, “Love”, “Sex” and “Work”. The seventh (and final) category is the one named “Miscellanea”.

Membership to the site comes at no cost, and creating an actual account is accomplished in a mere couple of minutes. Once the process has been dealt with, you can start posting your own secrets, and interacting with other site users to the full.

BccThis.com – A Way To Send Secret Messages

  • April 28, 2010

BccThis.comQuite an interesting service, BccThis creates a sot of layer on top of email, micro-blogging sites and social networks that is meant to provide just anybody with a more comprehensive and (above all) contextualized messaging experience. In practice, if you use this platform you will be allowed to send secret messages to people within any group.

There is nothing “mysterious” about doing so, and such a service can be put to professional uses. Think of it as a tool that lets you make some messages invisible to some recipients and you will hit the nail right on the head.

So far, Gmail and Outlook are the two only email services that are supported. The one micro-messaging platform that is supported is Twitter, and the one mobile phone that is supported (as of the time of writing this) is BlackBerry.

I think we all agree that very often private conversations stem from what is said on public streams. This site will let you keep carrying the dialogue where it started, and keep everything as private as you feel it is reasonable.

SafeBox.mobi – Ensure Your Mobile Is Safe At All Times

  • April 7, 2010

SafeBox.mobiAre you worried about the safety of your mobile, either for personal or professional reasons? If that happens to be the case, this is a site that you might like to check out. In a nutshell, a privacy tool for your mobile is provided here.

Some of the things that you can achieve through it include sending and receiving private SMS and having a secret list of contacts that only you will be able to visualize.

In a certain sense, SafeBox could be compared with a secret space that is inside your mobile and that is only accessible by you. It wouldn’t become visible to prying eyes under no circumstances, not even if the phone got lost.

This secret space can also be used to store sensitive data such as passwords and credit card numbers, IE information that you wouldn’t keep on your mobile for safety reasons. However, I think we have to concede that if we were assured such information is irretrievable to others then we would gladly store it there. After all, is there anything that we keep more close at hand through the day than our mobiles?

  • April 10, 2009

TruuConfessions.comDo you wish there were something akin to an anonymous micro-blogging platform where you could rant and rave about anything that is weighing you down? If you do, then it is quite likely you will appreciate this new service. Truuconfessions is a platform aimed at women, and it lets them get anything off their chests without disclosing who they are.

The foundations for this site where set down two years earlier, actually, in the form of a site named True Mom Confessions. That site became so popular that other categories besides moms were eventually added, culminating in this relaunch under the TruuConfessions moniker.

These categories include “Single/dating”, “Bride” and “Wife”. Furthermore, categories like “Office” are featured along with a “Military Wives” section. As you can see, a lot of ground is covered, and women in different stages of life are fully accounted for.

Freemasons-Freemasonry.com – Freemasonry Resource

  • June 18, 2008

Freemasons-Freemasonry.comFreemasonry is a fraternal organization that arose from obscure origins in the late 16th to early 17th century. This organization is an esoteric society although only certain aspects are now kept private.

Freemasons in this century claim that it is not longer a secret society as many think but one that has certain private matters that remain known only to its members. Most modern Freemasons regard the traditional concern over secrecy as a way to demonstrate their ability to keep a promise, and an interest over the privacy of their own affairs. Freemason lodge meetings, like those of many other social and professional associations, are private sessions which are open only to members. The private aspects of modern Freemasonry deal with the ways of recognition amongst members and elements within the ritual. Freemasons are proud of their heritage and are perfectly content in sharing it with the general public. To this end, they often offer spokesmen, briefings for the media, and provide talks to interested groups when asked. On this site non-masons with an interest in this ancient organization can find the most relevant information on Freemasonry including history, roles, rituals, laws, and more.
