I would have given anything for a service like RPG JS when I was 15, and The Legend Of Zelda was the coolest game in sight for miles and miles. If someone would have told me that one day I would be able to come up with my own version of the game without needing to know a single line of code, then the only thing I could have done was to scoff. And scoff again. But my, how things change and evolve…
RPG JS is an online platform for the creation of RPGs a la Zelda of The Speris Legacy (an Amiga game that was quite, quite good). You can create a world for the player to traverse, and he will have to solve one quest after the other while fighting the innumerable enemies that engage him. RPG JS will basically let you add all the things that made Zelda popular, including animations for when spells are cast, and all the kind of actions and interactions that defined Zelda for good can be replicated here too.
As you can tell, I am really keen on this new platform. If you ever played Zelda, you will be able to understand why. And you will be as ecstatic as I am. And if you have just learned about that classic, then something like RPG JS will let you realize what a big effort its creators actually made back then.
