OneSheet.com – Full Profile Pages For Musicians
A new service that is aiming really high, OneSheet intends to become the direct equivalent to About.me pages for musicians. Users of this service must first authenticate who they are via their social service of choice (Facebook or Twitter), and then proceed to connect their OneSheet pages with the third party services where their music can be found such as SoundCloud, Reverbnation and Bandcamp. And once they have linked all the relevant musician-specific sites to their OneSheet pages, they can proceed to import content from social services such as Posterous, Tumblr and YouTube.
Once all that has been done, they will have a centralized hub with all their biographical information, news and music for new and old punters to try out. OneSheet pages update themselves automatically, and bands have to do very little besides linking the services that were mentioned above and tweaking with some basic layout settings.
Of course, a service like this one couldnt come at a better time – now that MySpace has definitely fallen from grace, I bet many are looking for an alternative to what was once such a social juggernaut. Well, this is one of the most interesting alternatives to have surfaced so far.
