PocketPopstarApp.com – Music Recommendations For Teens

  • July 27, 2011

PocketPopstarApp.comPocket Popstar is a new music discovery app. It mainly aims to cater for teenagers, as once it has been installed it will have your whole iTunes library reviewed by two animated characters who are the spitting image of Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift. Which is unquestionably the coolest thing ever to someone who knows all the words to “My World 2.0” and “Speak Now” by heart.

Well, these two characters can analyze all the music you have stored on iTunes and based on what you have there (and how frequently you listen to it) produce a series of recommendations. The app lets you listen to samples and (if you like what you are listening to) buy it on the spot.

The Pocket Popstar application is currently available for free. It will most likely come at a cost in the future, so if you want to know what it’s like to have some of the most renowned pop stars of our age recommending music to you in person, then this is the right time to do it.

And just for your information, nobody interrupts Taylor when she’s speaking on Pocket Popstar. Important.

All in all, an app your teenaged sons and daughters can but enjoy. And one of the best apps that do this for adults, incidentally, is Muffin – test it out, you can download it for free.
