Caps.fool.comYou´ve no doubt heard of the Motley Fools books– various guides to investing which are written for the investment novice—well, now there´s a Motley Fools website called CAPS. The idea behind CAPS is that minds together work better; it´s community wisdom, group think.

Based on the collective thought processes of CAPS members, picks are assembled and presented to you so that you can invest in the best stocks and make lots of money. Basically, predictions are made as to which stocks will underperform and which will outperform the S&P 500, and in what time frame. Once these predictions are compiled, CAPS provides you with the hits and misses. Players whose predictions prove true get higher ratings; those who´ve not been so lucky, or clever will get docked in their overall percentile ratings. Obviously, CAPS isn´t going to give much weight to some fool who doesn´t even know what the S&P in the S&P 500 stand for. CAPS ratings are updated every five minutes with data constantly being recalculated so that the smartest players will lead the ratings. Keeping with the Motley spirit, players can even contrive clever video pitches for their stock picks, which quite frankly brings some much needed color to the investment business. If you haven´t got the chops for playing the stocks game, you can simply sit back and watch– learn by seeing what others do.
