Say you’re sitting in a bar and see someone you fancy across the room. Ice Brkr lets you send them a friendly ‘hello’ using just your mobile phone.
If you get a friendly reply technology stops. You walk over and have a chat. To use Ice Brkr you create a simple profile online. Then you log on with your mobile once you’re in the bar. Once logged in, you see pictures of other people in the very same bar. When you send them a message they can see you too and decide whether to invite you over for a chat. Etiquette rules are strict. If they get complaints from people who feel they’ve been approached without their permission you could get banned.
