TwitFlip – Mini-Blogging Platform

  • September 24, 2008

TwitFlipTwitFlip is a mini-blogging platform with an urban flare. This website allows users to share images, videos, links, and of course, what it is they’re thinking or doing.

In order to get strated, users must first create a free account. Once the required information is filled out, you will get a mini-blog which you can use to let others know what you’re up to, what you get your kicks from, and post anything that you think is cool and that you want others to see. At TwtiFlip you’re only allowed to post 180 characters at a time, so nothing long and boring is allowed. Whatever you want to say, you must say it as briefly as possible. On the site you will find lots of interesting content from both users as well as RSS feeds. All you need to do is find a contributor or RSS feed you like and follow them. In your profile page you’ll find a tab that’s for your friends, and here you’ll see all of their posts. As well as the web version, TwitFlip also has a light version especially created for cell phones, iPhones, Ipod Touch, or PDAs. Anywhere you have an internet connection is a great place to post yourself or read what your friends are up to. TwitFlip

Thinkspotting.com – Develop Your Ideas

  • October 16, 2007

Thinkspotting.comDo you have an idea that you think is actually pretty good? Do you want to develop that idea to maturity? If you do Thinkspotting.com could be a great site for you.

At Thinkspotting.com users submit ideas they think of and the ideas go through the four natural phases of development; conception, revision, promotion, and realization. You must be a member to submit an idea. Once you submit an idea you have already gone through the first phase, conception. After you have submitted an idea other members have the option of revising your idea to improve on it. Once the idea has been revised other members can vote on it. The revisions then compete against each other for votes. The top revisions with the highest votes are featured on the homepage, where everyone sees them. Users can also submit sightings of ideas they’ve seen come to life. Members report the sightings and can even include a photo. They also host a weekly podcast discussing some of these ideas. Ideas range greatly in topic from organic fast food to male birth control. So if you have a great idea check out Thinkspotting.com and see what happens.
