Mda.org is the official website of the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), an American organization which combats muscular dystrophy and diseases of the nervous system and muscular system.
This organization, founded in 1950, funds research and provides medical and community services. It is very famous thanks to the nationwide Telethon it holds every year on Labor Day since 1966. It is also famous thanks to its National Chairman, comedian Jerry Lewis.
