This is the kind of service that will have tweens at the edge of their seats. DouYouLuv.me will let them ask any of their friends on Facebook whether they love them or not, and provide a reason why. Using the site is as easy as individualizing the person that they want to question, and choosing an information channel (both Facebook and email are supported).

When asking the question, the user can choose to have the information posted on her wall. And tweens will obviously go for that. I mean, is there a better way to make her enemies go all green than publicly sharing information of this nature?

This is clearly a fun service and nothing else. Some parents could voice their discontent, and say they wished their daughters did something more purposeful with their time. That is entirely understandable. But I frankly believe that using something like DoYouLuv.me is a clear improvement over watching Twilight for the umpteen time in a row. Just my two cents…

What would happen if picking your date were something akin to buying a product at a store? That is a bit of a zany idea par excellence… but the whole process would be certainly good fun. And this site uses that very idea as its building block. Here, women can purchase the men they want to date. They have a shopping cart that they can fill with these candidates that seem promising.

The site actually makes that process easier for the shopper by letting her choose from different product categories that include the actual age of the candidate, his social type and his style. So shoppers are enabled to look up manly guys or even men in uniform within a specific range if that is what they want.

And the list of product categories is rounded up by a bonus pack section that lets the women pick men who are vegetarians, non-smokers, poets, romantics…

I take this site lightly. It is good fun. You should take it in the same way. Yet, as a coworker pointed out as I was reviewing it, if a site like this one letting men buy women were released then an outrage would ensue. But that is just the world we live in.
