eTrue.comThere is no dearth of sites where customers can review these products they have purchased, and many of them are on the faultline. It is too easy for sites of such nature to fall prey to duplicate identities and fake accounts, and users can very simply inflate their own companies and have their competitors raked through coals. That defies the point of having such sites around in the first place, and while there is no easy way to have that solved there are some sites like eTrue that at the very least try and bring some order into such a chaotic picture.

On eTrue, only people who have bought a specific product or hired the services of a company are enabled to submit a review and a rating for it. This is certified by the presence of a badge that is given only to those who have made an actual purchase somewhere.

In this way, shoppers are given that added bit of assurance when reading a review online, and businesses are enabled to present potential customers with reviews they know that can be trusted. If that doesn’t let them shop with more confidence, then I don’t know what will.
