The TEA is a branch of the state government of Texas responsible for the oversight of public primary and secondary education throughout the state. In order to give a better service to the large number of individual school districts and charter schools in Texas, it is divided into 20 different regions, each one containing an Educational Service Center. Well, this site is the official one for the region IV, which is located in southeast Texas, in the piney woods and it includes: Huntsville, Austin, Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Houston, Leon, Madison, Milam, Montgomery, Polk, Robertson, San Jacinto, Trinity, Walker, and Washington.
