HTMLENT.com – Encode & Decode HTML Entities

  • January 23, 2011

HTMLENT.comHTML/ENT is a free HTML entities encoder/decoder. As any programmer could tell you, when coding HTML one has to face the hard-to-solve problem of characters that are reserved and which you are not allowed to use at all. And there is also the problem that arises when you need to use characters or marks that exist only in some languages. When that happens, your only option is to look for an equivalent using your favorite search engine, or to use an application like this one.

HTML/ENT will let you input the characters that are giving you a headache, and have them turned into something usable right off the bat. As a matter of fact, this application can actually deal with large chunks of text. The process is the same in every case – you paste the text to be made HTML-friendly, and then you will have it translated by merely hitting the button that reads Encode/Decode.

Without a shadow of a doubt, a site that programmers are going to add to their collections of bookmarks willingly.

EncoderTool.com – An Online Encoder & Decoder

  • November 26, 2010

EncoderTool.comA site that will be used by programmers only, Encoder Tool lives up to its name. It can take care of converting as many numerical bases as you could ever throw at it. Base 64, Hexadecimal, Octal, Binary… this application can handle it all. And it can also decode anything that you have around, too. That was only obvious, but it is only best to mention it.

As far as design and structure go, this is not really the kind of site that catches your eye. If anything, it is a functional site. The people who will use it know what they want. They would never visit the site looking for some behemoth of a Flash presentation. That is not offered here.

And the site is completely free to use. You can tell some programmer friend of yours about it with confidence – he will not come across any useless site when he pays it a visit, and at no point is he going to be charged a fee for encoding or decoding anything.
