Twtrfrnd.com – Broadening Your Twitter Circle

  • April 23, 2009

Twtrfrnd.comThe app with the hardest name to stomach has just arrived. It is actually quite a useful app, though, so don’t let that turn you off.

It is especially useful now that Twitter is all the rage, and people are creating accounts as if there were no tomorrow.

Essentially, this tool will let you know if any new follower is worth following back, based on the number of people that you two follow. Using this app couldn’t be more straightforward, as all you have to do is supply your Twitter screenname and the username of the person you want to learn more about. The system there and then executes a search and produces the information that was mentioned above.

Upcoming features will include the option to sort your friends into groups, effectively having an overview of what Twitterer follows what Twitterer, and in relation to whom.

Obviously, the name of the app can not be modified now that the site is up and running, and that is the one aspect that could use a true overhaul. If you can live with that, give the site a try. You are bound to like it. But if you are talking to a friend on the phone and he asks you “Which site do you visit in order to know who to follow and who to keep your distance from when tweeting?”, you are in trouble.
