search cancel – A New Social Bookmarking Site

Spotery.comSpotery is yet another social bookmarking site. Like the many sites that play out a comparable role, here anybody can share the best content that he has found while surfing the Web for all to see, comment and (more importantly) vote. These stories that get the biggest number of votes are then displayed on a Top Picks section, whereas there is a companion category that lists the best content as highlighted by the editors of the site.

It must be mentioned that the site also has a livestream running on the right-hand side of the screen. This lets visitors see items that are spotted by those who are registered users of the site in real time.

Speaking of which, registration costs nothing and the process is over before you ever notice. Whether you will feel inclined to sign up for yet another site of this nature is something that remains to be seen, of course. Still, I can envision at least a brief part of the contingent that deserted Digg en masse stopping by this site in order to take a better look for themselves. In Their Own Words

Spot it. Share it.

Why It Might Be A Killer

Many people are still looking for alternatives to Digg. They will check anything that comes into sight.

Some Questions About

What are the best features of the site? What will keep people coming back to it?
