DateMyRide.com – Date People You Met While Driving

DateMyRide.comYou can say whatever you like about this startup, but you can’t say that it isn’t novel. I can honestly tell you that it is based on one of the most original premises that I have seen in quite a while.

I am sure that to some it might border on the ludicrous, but all really novel ideas run that risk.

Essentially, the site will let you find people that you crossed paths with while driving, and whose cars captivated you. Using the site involves creating an account and then writing a small post describing where did you see the person who set your head reeling, and which vehicle he was driving at that time.

On the other hand, you can browse through the posts that are already featured and see if that other significant one has already written a note where he says he wants to see you again.

So, there you go. Grab your copy of Tom Petty’s “Highway Companion”, let the music play on the background and start browsing the site to see if the one who stole your heart on the highway can already be found on this site.

DateMyRide.com In Their Own Words

“Date My Ride is a free, fun and exciting new online dating website. “Was there your dream date in the car just passed you on a highway?” – our motto summarizes it all. For many of us the first date starts when you leave the house and walk down to the car waiting at the curb. Dozens of thoughts flash through your mind in those few seconds while you’re walking towards that car: “Wow, nice ride! He was cute in the picture, but the car……OMG?! Is that a Pinto? Didn’t they stop making those 100 years ago?!”

Why DateMyRide.com It Might Be A Killer

It is an entirely original site – nowhere else can you date people based on the cars that they drive.
