Should Universities Be Run Like Startups?

university

The debate around whether or not startup founders need to go to college has been raging for years. There are famous dropouts every direction you turn, but there are also plenty of Ivy League grads roaming the halls of successful startups and the bigger tech companies.

With the rising price of education, a newer debate has emerged: Whether it makes sense for anyone to go to college. Some people argue that the cost is too high for the benefit, some think that university teaches you in a way that nothing else can, and others – like the folks over at Best Value Schools – think that universities need to actually start emulating startups or else risk being phased out all together.

Think that’s a big claim? Check out their infographic below and your mind might be changed.
