How Non-Technical Founders Can Build Successful Tech Products

Can non-technical entrepreneurs build tech companies? Eric Bahn says yes, and explains how he did it.

Eric Bahn, angel investor and serial entrepreneur (who founded and later sold Beat The GMAT), shares some great tips for entrepreneurs like him who want to start a tech-driven company, but don’t necessarily have a coding or mathematics background. Namely:


  • Understand your customers before you start marketing to them (validate first!)
  • Use prototyping tools to create mockups of your product
  • And most importantly, don’t let not having a technical co-founder stop you from building your MVP.
