Facebook page tab apps have become a key component of brands’ social media marketing strategies. While many are accessible to all users, others require a “social opt-in,” which requires certain Facebook profile information in exchange for access to the app.
To better understand how marketers are leveraging social opt-in capabilities, Neolane analyzed the Facebook page tab apps of 450 brand pages, including the top 150 each in the US, UK, and France.
