Why It’s A Killer Startup
Tracking progress when you’re working out can be tricky. If you’re doing right and building muscle while losing fat, your weight may stay the same and your measurements might seem pretty similar, even as you’re getting fitter. And yet, without some metric of change and success, it can be super hard to stay motivated to keep going.
One method that I’ve used personally is taking pictures every few months and then comparing them. Luckily for me, my boyfriend does front end design, so he knows how to do all of the photoshoppy things like placing one image over the other and lining them up just right and like, transparency.
However, I know it’s a pain in the butt because I always have to bug him for days to please do it for me. Luckily for him, that’s all over now that I know about Pushh.
Pushh lets you set up each shot as a transparent overlay on your previous fitness selfie, ensuring that everything is lined up from the very beginning. It then organizes all of your pics in a timeline style, giving you an easy way to visualize your progress. It also lets you export either a single image or all of them, in case you want to take them to a personal blog or store them elsewhere.
And, of course, there’s the before and after shot. Once you’ve hit your goal, pick the images that best exemplify your transformation and create a before and after composite image or video, if you have a few. It’s a great confidence booster and an excellent reward for all of your hard work.
Finally, Pushh lets you log your measurements, in case that is a metric that you’re interested in tracking. It’s basically a way to keep track of all of your progress in one place as you get fitter and fitter.
And, you know, it saves photo shop savvy boyfriends the hassle of piecing pics together themselves.
