Flirt, Express Crush, And Propose: DateIITians Has The Online Dating Formula
Flirt, express crush, and propose. Those are the steps that Indian dating site DateIITians gives you to meet your soulmate. If their formula ends up working, someone should give founder Layak Singh a Nobel Peace Price for eliminating about 98% of the world’s drama because if dating were that simple, we’d all be paired up by now.
The site is combination of traditional dating website and social media site, allowing “buddies” to get to know each other and then meet in real life if they’re feeling the online love. It’s been blowing up in India and they currently have plans to go global, so maybe they’re on to something? Keep reading to discover more tricks of the trade.
[editor’s note: What really caught my attention about this site was the “express crush” action. Sure… I’ve always been pretty good at the flirting phase. And I’ve even been proposed to a few times. I’m not sure I’ve ever really been that good at expressing my crushes, however, at least not in an appropriate, fruitful sort of way. I did a quick search online for ways to “express a crush” and I found this Wiki How page, which suggests, (among other things), “The most important rule is to JUST DO IT! It’s just like jumping into a cold swimming pool. A little scary, but once you jump in, it’s over sooner than you thought and you’re relieved. Take a deep breath and just jump!” That seems like great advice to me – not only for expressing a crush to someone, but also just generally for the life of an entrepreneur – “Take a deep breath and just jump!”]
