Elevator Pitch:

Yood! makes it super easy to find and order food in your area.

Why It’s A Killer Startup:

I love takeout and delivery. I mean, I think most people probably love takeout, but the combination of food I don’t have to cook myself (even though I do love cooking) and the fact that I can eat it on my couch, in my sweatpants, just makes me happy. Living abroad for almost four years has made me appreciate takeout even more, as the serious lack of good Asian food in the countries I’ve lived in has made me miss New York City more than I ever could have imagined.

What I don’t love is trying to figure out where to order from, which is totally a first world problem, I know. The indecisiveness of a group of people (even if that group is a party of one: me) drives me up the wall. That’s why next time I’m in the States, I’m going to turn to Yood!.

Yood! makes it simple to figure out where you’re going to get your next lazy meal from. Its simple design lets you pick from a range of food types, order food in-app thanks to their new delivery.com integration, see what’s popular in your area, search what’s the best in any area via their map – and it even recommends lunch and dinner spots for those of you who are feeling especially disinclined to choose on your own.

Writing this post is making me hungry. The thought of all that takeout at my fingertips… Yummmmmm! If, unlike me, you’re in a city where Yood! is available and you’re feeling pretty hungry too, download the app for iOS or Apple Watch and never get stuck in that “Where should we order from?” limbo again.

Tweetable:

Never get caught wondering what you’re going to order AGAIN. @YoodApp has your back.
