Twitxr.com – Like Twitter with Photos

Twitxr.comWhat do you get when you mash up Twitter and Flickr? Twitxr. It’s light comm, i.

e. short messaging a la Twitter, but complemented by pictures. Or vice versa, the words complement the photos. Basically, what you have is photoblogging, the succinctness of photos to convey any given message. Twitxr, of course has given users the option to link it up to Facebook and Twitter, which makes it easier to keep up your communication circuit. Although the service was designed with the iPhone in mind, it hasn’t been officially sanctioned by the Apple folks, meaning you’ll have to do some maneuvering to get it to work. Photos taken from your iPhone actually have to be pulled in from Twitxr. Besides that, Twitxer does automatically add your location without the need for GPS.

Twitxr.com In Their Own Words

Why Twitxr.com It Might Be A Killer

This is a nice, simple app from Fon Labs. The Twitter, Facebook and location integrations are definite pluses—could make for an easy way to bypass posting directly on Twitter altogether. Because it’s dead simple like Twitter, it could become quite popular.

Some Questions About Twitxr.com

This seems somewhat unoriginal. This is the nth Twitter related app out there and even the name doesn’t inspire too much confidence in the uniqueness of this service. The interface is on the sparse side too. Why didn’t’ Twitxer simply build on top of the Twitter API instead of making a clone platform? Twitxr.com
