search cancel – Take Pride On Afro Heritage

TheTalkingDrum.comThe website started as a school project during African Heritage Month in 1998. Ever since then, it’s grown and grown into what today is TheTalkingDrum.

com, a site with information about Africans by Africans. They’re non-profit organization which is ad-free and self supported which focuses mostly on linking pages which promote liberation, empowerment, unification and justice for African and African descendants. They sport free email, voice chat, audio/video resources, an online radio stations and discussion forums where you can participate and get involved in the community, because as they state “the .com in is for community.” It’s a very interesting and complex site, they feature a lot of links to different communities and black pride sites which might come as a shocker to some at first such as the Pan-African TV link, which is run by Pan-African revolutionaries and others. What is more, they look forward becoming as active with their members offline as they are online, to make it more like a real community rather than an internet thing. Check it out for yourself at
