The County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania is a statewide, nonprofit, bipartisan association representing the commissioners, chief clerks, administrators, and solicitors of Pennsylvania’s sixty-seven counties. The Association’s purpose is to strengthen the counties’ ability to govern their own affairs and improve the quality of life of its citizens.
The Association tries to achieve the passing of favorable state and federal legislation, policies and programs, and provides services and training to its members, county leaders, and staff. The Association strives to inform and educate the public, administrative, legislative, and regulatory bodies, decision makers, and the media about county government. On this site visitors will find information on the Association, its board of directors, committees, staff, legislative priorities, platform, and resolutions dating back to 2001. Information on the counties that make up the Association is available including links to their official websites, as well as associate member and vendors, government relations, education and conferences, and information on the technology center.
