Said organization is the group for destroyer veterans to join. Membership consists mainly of soldiers that served on said ships during 20th Century armed conflicts, but individuals such as model builders and veteran relatives are welcome too. The site features a thorough guide on destroyers, and specific ships can be found by virtue of a search tool that lets the individual carry out a search by hull number. Moreover, ships can be searched by name. A collection of articles that detail destroyer histories and fleet information can be found online as well. The site also includes information of interest to members, alongside all the latest navy news and updates. Events are likewise announced online. Membership benefits are described on the relevant page. These include a quarterly newspaper and free or reduced price admission to maritime museums of the historic fleet.
