The Dalton School is an independent, co-educational day school, founded in 1919 by the renowned progressive educator Helen Parkurst. The Dalton School is committed to providing an excellent education that meets each student’s interests, abilities, and needs and promotes and appreciation for diversity in their community as an integral part of school life.
This school challenges each student to develop intellectual independence, creativity and curiosity and a sense of responsibility toward others, both within the School and in the community at large.
