As most people who suffer from physical ailments can tell you, different treatments often work to varying degrees of success depending on the person. The same goes for people who struggle with concentration, quitting smoking, or self-esteem, among other things. While conventional modern medicine works miracles for many, others find that it only helps some or not at all. Even for those for whom it works, sometimes it can be worth exploring alternative treatments, especially for people who want to create a balance between mind, body, and spirit. A growing number of people all over the world are looking to alternative or complementary methods to promote health and wellness, and one of those is color therapy.
is the first and only app that aims to help users improve their health and wellness through color therapy in a subliminal and effortless manner. Color therapy, also known as chromotherapy, is used throughout the world as alternative health therapy, often in tandem with conventional medicine.
The idea for the app came from the concept of chakras – energy centers in the human body, according to Hinduism. Each of the seven chakras is said to relate to a particular harmonizing color. Based on this, Pranadigma uses color vibrations to help people re-balance their own energy, producing light beams invisible to the naked eye, that “leave a trace of light on the unconscious.”
This app could offer benefits such as: quitting smoking, increased concentration, elevated mood, better sleep, physical pain relief, and improved self-esteem, particularly when used alongside (rather than in place of) traditional medical treatments.
How It Works
Once you’ve downloaded the application on either your phone or computer, you input what your needs are based on two options: heal or boost. For healing, you click on a figure of a human body based on where your physical concerns are. For boosting, you have the option to select the program to improve self-esteem, gratitude, forgiveness, kindness, deep sleep, quit smoking, concentration for work or study, etc. Each chosen option has a certain light vibration frequency.
Pranadigma’s app emits flashes of light that are imperceptible to the human eye, for adjustable periods of time, and with varying intensities based on the needs of the user. According to their website, the repetition of these intermittent color vibrations register in the person’s unconscious and leaves a “trace of light,” which will bring the desired effect selected by the user.
Pranadigma’s app is available via Google Play, allowing you to access the benefits of color therapy through your mobile device or desktop computer. According to Google Play, in-app purchases range from $1.99-$2.99 each, although Pranadigma’s website indicates that they offer a 30-day free trial.
