I spend the majority of my waking life online. Because I’m a blogger, my time is either spent searching for awesome content to consume and inspire or creating my own awesome content. Add on the fact that I’m a digital nomad and therefore, a) don’t usually have a lot of friends to hang out with and, b) have to communicate with my loved ones via messengers and video chat – and you can bet that, yeah, I spend a lot of time online.
One hassle of all this online time is that I’m a member of so many different types of messengers. My boyfriend has one preference for how I should get in touch, while my dad has a totally different one; one boss is on Slack, while another prefers Gchat; my best friend might respond to a Facebook message, but usually I have to email if I want to get her attention.
What a girl wouldn’t do for a little bit of consolidation!
Well, Postly is a new service that makes sharing online content — be it video, text, images, or links — that much easier. Instead of having to figure out which service to use or what’s preferable for a group, you can just share it all right in their system. Postly includes threads for one-on-one communication, groups for sharing content with a bunch of people, and they present it all in a simple, organized way.
Creating a post on Postly is super simple. Just click on the “New Post” button in the top right corner of the page. Five minimal icons pop up — for written, images, video, music, and links — and each one leads to a simple uploading section. You can choose who you want to share your post with and then send it out into the world!
You can also create groups on Postly by inviting your friends and family via email to come check out what you’re digging these days. Or, if you just want to talk share with one person, you can start a thread with them and let the messages flow!
There is so much great content out there these days — trust me; I’m an expert. If you want a better way to share that content, get started on Postly today.
