OpenBaseMovil.org – J2ME Framework from Elondra

OpenBaseMovil.orgOpenBaseMovil is an open source application framework for developing J2ME mobile applications. It’s got a library which branches out to perform many tasks including internationalization, task control, serialization, compression, encryption and more.

That’s the core of the app. The engine provides supports for hundreds of tables which can be indexed for easier searching; an SQL database system may be implemented in the future. The OpenBaseMovil scripting engine for JavaME is being developed further to facilitate interactions. The framework also includes storage—a pluggable library used by the database, and helper tools such as resource packing and checking, and view compiling among others.
