A new online radio platform, Now.in will let any person who can access the Internet both listen to artists from all over the globe and broadcast his own music. Creating an online radio channel is done both quickly and inexpensively, and the idea is that just anybody can broadcast whatever he wants to the world using this platform. People will be able to listen to the shows he has put together without having to download or install anything on their computers – a web browser and an Internet connection are the only things which are needed for listening to a Now.in radio station.
The best radios are all spotlighted on the site, and the same goes for these that have been created more recently. In all cases, you are told how many listeners each particular radio has already got, and also about what kind of music that radio broadcasts. Which is just right, as sometimes the names people choose for their stations give you just no idea of what kind of content they favor. They do, however, give you an idea of where the DJ happens to be located – many radios are named after cities and towns.
