MagCover.com – Create Fake Magazine Covers Easily

MagCover.comChristmas presents can range in terms of volume and scope, but at the end of the day goodwill is all that matters. The service I am reviewing right now is clearly no substitute for a Rolex or a Gibson guitar, but it is a nice alternative to these endless cards that feature Santa in one corner and the reindeers on the other.

You see, MagCover will let you take a picture (any picture) and have it turned into the cover of a magazine.

As you can imagine, the themes and motifs range from “Bride” and “Model” to cartoonish ones and magazines for pet owners. There is also one named “The Poker Face”, and I bet many will put that one to splendid use.

In addition to taking care of the mashup process through the site, it is possible to do it all when you are on the go since iPhones are supported.

As I said at the beginning, I would rather receive one of these this Christmas that yet another card. Don’t get me wrong, both are enormously appreciated. But covers like these ones is bound to make me laugh for certain.
