Lastmusicmap is a mashup of Last.fm and Google Maps that allows you to search for any artist and then track what they are up to on a Google Map.
Simply enter the artist you are interested in into the search bar, and Lastmusicmap will plot all of that artist’s upcoming events for you on the map. If there aren’t any upcoming events listed for your artist, Lastmusicmap can help you to find similar artists and then search for any upcoming events that they might have. They state on their homepage that you can also add upcoming artist events although testing of the site seems to indicate that it isn’t yet possible, or at least there didn’t appear to be a way to do that from the site.

The site is well-designed and could really catch on as a way for people to track artists and see where they are playing next on a map.

They might consider improving the instructions so that it is more readily evident how to go about adding events to the map. This site will only be useful if it is able to include more events than it currently does.
