Koinup.com – Social Network For Your Virtual Life

Koinup.comIf the regular crop of social networks for your real life has got you looking for more, then perhaps a network catering to your virtual world would be more to your taste. Koinup specializes in virtual spaces, games, and metaverses such as Second Life, World of Warcraft, and The Sims.

The site, whose name stems from the ancient Greek for a sort of Esperanto spoken to foreigners, has been developed as a space that goes beyond nationalities, countries and borders. Users are encouraged to upload their virtual world creations and share them with their fellow Koinup members. The regular social network fixings are there as well—profiles, multimedia sharing (machinima, screenshots, avatars), friends and content publishing. Entries are tagged by virtual world for easier browsing. Comments are also enabled. The site is currently in beta and is free for all users.
