Why It’s A Killer Startup
Travel apps are awesome for two reasons:
- They provide inspiration and help when you go on a trip.
- They provide great distraction when you can’t currently go on a trip but really want to.
Mosey adds one more great element to the mix: the serious need to brag when you travel. Now, before any of you even think of objecting, let’s all just take a minute and be totally honest here, okay? In these days of social media, a large part of the fun of travel is wrapped up in the bragging about it. That is simply a fact.
That said, our friends on Facebook and Twitter and Instagram doubtlessly get real sick of our braggy traveler ways right quick. So why not take it all to Mosey?
Mosey lets users create curate trips through cities worldwide, highlighting each spot with a beautiful image and a brief text description. Each trip is totally browsable, highlighting interesting and unique aspects of the city being explored. The sense you get from the site and the app is a well-curated travel experience, presented by people who at the very least look like they’re in the know.
