Today’s Killer Startup: Interviewed
Interviewed is the place to find any and all startup-related podcast interviews.
Why It’s A Killer Startup
I listen to podcasts all the time: when I’m cleaning, cooking, walking to work. I love the combination of essentially listening to a story and learning that podcasts provide and I’m not alone in my admiration for the art form: subscriptions to podcasts in the iTunes store alone passed 1 billion way back in 2013. With the explosion of Serial at the end of last year, it looks like podcasts are not only here to stay but may in fact be a serious media trend to watch.
Podcasts are also perfect for startup founders, a group of people who are constantly learning new skills and seeking out the newest trends. They’re the kind of thing you can pop on while you’re doing something else or, if you’re an aural learner, really sit down and focus on.
If you’re not sure where to start finding great podcasts, Interviewed is the place for you. It’s a collection of startup-specific podcasts that at the time of writing this article had 107 podcasts, 161 people, and 625 interviews. They feature startup celebs like James Altucher and Jay Baer talking about everything from the trials and tribulations of starting up to how they got where they are today.
Some of the featured podcasts on the site Entreprogrammers (for developers), HackToStart, and Hack the Entrepreneur. There are hundreds upon hundreds of hours of entertaining information that can help your startup go from idea to acquisition.
And, of course, for those of you working on establishing yourselves as thought leaders, getting on a podcast is a great way to get your message out there. Check out the shows listed on Interviewed and see if you’d be a good fit as a guest on any of them. It can’t hurt to reach out, right?
