Kellee Khalil, Founder of, Is Inspiring The Bootstrapped Bride, Pinterest Style

Planning weddings is no easy feat. Most brides breakdown, cry and obsess over every little detail, or they just hire someone to do all these things for them. But wedding planners are a luxury – J. Lo ain’t cheap, people. That’s why brides are turning to Pinterest, The Knot and hundreds of other wedding sites, blogs and bridal platforms for inspiration. This can be a daunting and time-consuming task…to say the least.

Luckily for all you brides-to-be, there’s, the site that curates the best bride blogs on the web, so you have a one-stop-shop for all your bridal idea perusing.

And Founder and CEO, Kellee Khalil, is an entrepreneur that knows a little about being inspired.

PR pro in the wedding know

Before launching, Kellee spent two years honing her PR skills at Be Inspired PR.

The firm, owned by her sister, specializes in marketing and PR in the wedding industry including promoting, branding and the crème de la crème of media placements.

A Martha Stewart Wedding

When her sister got engaged soon after Kellee started working at the firm, it was Martha Stewart Wedding madness; from subscribing to 50 blogs to creating home-made photo boards, Kellee had a hard time collaborating and organizing all the online content she found.

This is where Kellee got inspiration to walk down her own startup aisle.

The site is very visual, pulling the most beautiful photos from the top wedding blogs and curating them into categories like color schemes, flowers, dresses, venues, etc.

The bride-to-be can also hire wedding specialists and purchase bridal goodies all from the site.

Oh yes, and it’s highly addictive. For someone who isn’t remotely close to “saying yes to the dress,” I had a hard time peeling myself away from the Pinterest-like platform to write about it.

If you’re an overwhelmed web-surfing bride, I highly recommend the gorgeous content of Get inspired, get organized and get your bum to the honeymoon (the best part of a wedding, after all).
