Jottit.com – Ready Made Wiki, Instant Publishing

Jottit.comJottit is a new tool that’s sublimely minimalistic and yet mighty cool. It will send shivers of simple delight down your spine, perhaps reminding you of the cultish power of microblogging.

In essence, Jottit is a text box. You literally type whatever you’d like into this empty square and within seconds you’ll have created a fresh, brand new webpage or wiki. Pages can be made private, whereby you require a password to execute edits, or you can open them up for all to see and edit. Additionally, pages may be put into a sort of private diary mode whereby only you can see and edit your page. As it works like a wiki, you can create subpages using wiki codes and the revision history is displayed for all to see. Use HTML to create links, add images, and make lists. It’s pretty basic stuff. There’s also a handy preview—you’re results appear as you type them in the window next to the editor.
